How to Apply Liquid Liner with Mineral Eye Shadow OR

Mineral Eye Shadow As Liquid Liner

What's Your Face Shape?

Knowing Your Face Shape Can Help You Greatly In Knowing How To:

1) Choose makeup techniques that will bring out every positive aspect of your natural bone structure.

2) Help you get a great flattering hair cut to fit your face shape.

Instructions  For
    Measuring Your Face......

1) Choose a bathroom with good lighting and stand in front of the mirror. You'll need a tape measure, a piece of paper and a pen to write down your measurements.

2) Start by measuring across the top of your cheekbones.

Place the end of your tape measure just past the outer corner of your eye. This is your start point.

Then, carefully lay the tape measure in a straight line across the bridge of your nose to just past the outer corner of your other eye. This is your end point of measurement.

The tape measure should be resting on the top of the "apples" of your cheeks, or just on top of your cheekbones.

Read the number at the end point and write down this measurement.

3) Measure your jaw line next.

Start on one side of your jaw at the base near your ear. Run the measuring tape along your jaw line until you come to the middle of your chin.

Multiple the number at the end point by two and write down this measurement.

4) Measure your forehead now.

Place the start point of the measuring tape on one side of your forehead at the widest point halfway between your eyebrows and your hairline.

Run the measuring tape along your forehead until you come to the same point on the opposite side of your head.

Read the number at the end point and write down this measurement.

5) Finally, measure the length of your face.

Start at the middle of your hairline. Run the measuring tape down your face, over your nose, to the tip of your chin.

Read the number at the end point and write down this measurement.

Your Face Shape Answer;

You have an oval face shape if:

The length of your face equals one and a half times the width. This face is well balanced and proportionate.

An oval face can wear practically any hairstyle so feel free to experiment!
Pixie haircuts, bobs, wavy, straight, and long hairstyles should all look great on oval face shapes.

Celebrities with oval faces are Julia Roberts, Heather Locklear, Jessica Alba, Eva Mendez, Kate Hudson, and Megan Fox.

You have a round face shape if:

Your face is as wide as it is long.
Close counts, so even if the two measurements aren't exactly the same, your face will be classified as round.
Try hairstyles with height at the crown to balance out the width of your face. Off center parts, sweptback styles or lots of length will help counter a round face.

Avoid very short, cropped hairstyles or hairstyles that have fullness at the sides, as these will make your face look larger.

The round shaped face is the rarest face shape. Round faces usually do not have angular features and have a fullness at and below the cheekbones.

A celebrity with a round face is Kate Winslet, Drew Barrymore, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Osbourne and Kirsten Dunst.

You have an oblong face shape if:

Your face is longer than it is wide. The forehead, jaw line, and cheekbone are about equal in width.

Try hairstyles that are short to medium in length.
Layers will soften the angles in your face so ask your stylist to add layering, especially around your face.
Avoid very long hairstyles that will make your face look even longer than it already is. You want to pick a hairstyle that will make your face appear shorter and fuller.

Niki Taylor, Sarah Jessica Parker, Celine Dion and Liv Taylor

You have a heart-shaped face if:

You have a narrow jaw with wide cheekbones and/or forehead.

A chin length bob is perfect for this type of face shape as it makes the jaw area appear wider and more balanced with the rest of your face.

Longer hairstyles also work well, but avoid styles with height at the crown or slicked back and super short hairstyles.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Reese Witherspoon, Keri Russel, Katie Holmes and Christina Ricci.

You have a square face shape if:

Your face is as wide as it is long but with a more angular shape than a round face.
The best way to tell a square shaped face is a square shaped hairline and squared shaped jawline.

A short- to medium-length hairstyle works well with this type of face shape, as do wavy or rounded outline styles.
Wispy bangs also help even out a square face.

Avoid long, straight hairstyles. A bob hairstyle that sits either above or below the jaw line will look great-just be sure your bob doesn't sit right at the jaw line. This will make your face look wider.

Sandra Bullock, Demi Moore, Jessica Simpson and Carmen Electra.

You have a diamond face shape if:

Your face is widest at the cheekbones and equally narrow at the forehead and jaw line.

A true diamond-shaped face can wear almost any hair style, so experiment!

Just be sure to show off your beautiful cheekbones-don't hide them with too much hair on your face.

If you are a dramatic diamond shape and opt for a short hairstyle make sure your stylist leaves some weight in the nape of the neck to balance out your prominent cheekbones. Avoid short bangs.

Elisabeth Hurley, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista

I hope this helps, It's still a little confusing to me even after I did the measurements, I went back and forth a little but when you think what hair style looked good and bad on you in the past you can narrow it down. It turns out I'm an Oblong.

Outsmart Your Sweet Tooth!

That sweet tooth is always getting in the way. Your good all day and then it hits you, I need something really sweet.

Not to mention sabotaging your good eating habits and keeping your self at a healthy weight.

Well there are a few reasons for that:

1) Don't eat or add salt to your food.
Usually a very salty meal or snack is followed by sugar a craving.
Your body is trying to balance it self out. Not to mention your blood pressure spiking up with all that salt. So stay away from excess salt.

2) Your body is not getting enough nutrients.
Why, because your not eating fruits, proteins and vegetables.
Instead of eating a meal you opt for a bag of chips or cookies.
These have no nutrients at all and they just want to make you eat more junk food. Your body will never be satisfied and you will constantly have cravings all day.

Try making healthy snacks and meals like rolling up romaine or escarole lettuce with fresh turkey. How about sliced tomatoes drizzled with olive oil with pink salmon or cod.

Get creative do things you like but keep it fresh and simple so your not overwhelmed.

Or try a square of dark chocolate with a cup of peppermint tea. My favorite combination at night when those cravings usually hit.

And don't forget how about my Skin Glowing Shake every morning so your guaranteed to get those nutrients!

OLIVE OIL....LOVE IT !!!!!

Olive oil has been a very highly praised in the mediterranean diet. I never go with out my olive oil.

It delivers an abundance of monounsaturated fats and omega-9 essential fatty acids. What does that mean for you and me.

Limited and non conclusive evidence suggests eating about two tablespoons (23grams) of this fantastic oil daily may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease due to the monounsaturated fat found in olive oil.

To achieve these benefits replace butter with olive oil. Use it on your gluten free toast in the morning or lightly drizzle on salad with fresh squeezed lemon juice.

The monounsaturated fats found in olive oil help maintain cholesterol levels already within a normal range.

Small changes will lead to big benefits in the long run.

Make sure to buy 100% pure virgin olive oil.

And I forgot to mention the beautiful benefits it will do for your skin. Olive oil deeply penetrates skin to hydrate soften.

Olive oil can be found in many ingredients for cosmetics, skin care and soaps.

Skin Care Tips During The Winter Months

The cold is tough on the skin, harsh cold windy weather mixed in with dry heat from our homes, cars and offices.

Changing temperature means your skin is constantly adjusting to the elements. If you want to look beautiful in cold weather here are a few of my skin care tips…..

1) Don't take long hot showers.
Taking a hot shower will strip skin of it's natural moisturizing lipids, leaving you with dry skin. Take a short, warm showers and moisturize while skin is still damp.

2) Keep protecting skin from sun damage.
No matter what season the sun is always shinning it's harmful ultraviolet rays. Use your All Natural mineral foundation with SPF to help protect your skin. Just because it's not hot doesn't mean those rays are not harmful.

3) Exfoliate twice a week.
Removing dead skin cells with our rose facial polish will allow the skin to absorb extra moisture. Your skin care with penetrate you skin even better and makeup will look flawless.

4) Moisturize frequently.
Adding and Elixir or Argan oil to your skin care routine along with anti-aging radiance creme will protect the skin form harsh wind and cold weather. And can be applied through-out the day for very dry skin.

5) Use a humidifier.
With the heat blasting in our homes with windows closed, the air can become very dry causing dryness, cracked and itchy skin. That's why taking care of your skin is super important this time of year. Adding a humidifier to place moisture back in the air with help tremendously.

6) Drink plenty of water
This is something that should be done all the time no matter what. For some reason we stop drinking water in the winter months. You need to replenish your body, giving you energy, helps your skin from becoming dehydrated.
